Armando Alemdar Ara is an artist, art historian and co-founder of Neomodernism, the new art movement that espouses spiritual and aesthetic values in art. He has a highly unique style which embodies his art with the ancient mystical beliefs in inner spirituality.
Armando begins the process of creating each piece by producing sketches on paper of his subject. These are then amalgamated into one composition and serve as the basis for his final painting in oils on canvas.
Over the past six years there has been media and TV coverage on Armando's work both as one of the creators of Neomodernism and as a painter. To celebrate his achievements as an international artist, educator and art historian, the National Gallery of Macedonia is organising an exhibition of his work.He will be the first living artist in the history of the gallery to exhibit his work and simultaneously hold a series of lectures on the philosophy of art.
Armando's paintings form an integral part of many significant international collections. Many of his solo exhibitions have sold out including most of the last seven in London.
